From receipt of your files we always aim to return a test copy to you within a week. Like a recording session, it’s always useful to know that a job is being sent in advance so we can pre book time with an engineer. As a guide please allow between one and two hours per track for mastering although if it’s a very simple job it could well be less.
Clients are always welcome to attend the mastering session although we often find better results are achieved by supplying detailed instructions. Once the mastering engineer has completed your basic requests his creative expertise will add the final polish. You will receive a test copy to approve once the mastering process has been completed or further changes can then be requested. For vinyl production we are able to produce test pressings for a small additional charge prior to your main run commencing. We guarantee our mastering 100%, if you’re genuinely and justifiably not happy, we don’t charge you.
For best results and quickest turnaround please supply Wav files recorded at 24bits with a sample rate of 44.1kHz and send to us on a data CDR or DVD-R. We can also accept your files as 16 Bit 44.1kHz Audio on a CD, CD-R, CD-RW, Minidisc or DAT, 16 or 24 Bit Wav files using 44.1 to 96kHz sampling rate on a Data CDR and 16 or 24 Bit Wav Files using 44.1 to 96kHz sampling rate on USB or Compact Flash Drives. All original files will be returned once mastering process is complete.
