DMS Vinyl are on the lookout for a creative and talented graduate to join their team to help develop and facilitate a new bespoke Client Relationship Management (CRM) system. The system will first link internal processes and procedures (admin, audio, design, quotes and orders, shipping, and marketing) to create one central workflow, but is ultimately intended to integrate with this website and a still-to-be-developed client portal. We envisage strong automation featuring throughout, while still allowing us to sustain a personal touch with our clients that our operations were built on and is globally renowned for. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who has both the technical and design skills required to develop a comprehensive platform that is as attractive as it is functional.
Successful applicants will:
- Demonstrate experience with PHP/Laravel framework, and/or Node.js.
- Show competence working with HTML, CSS & JavaScript
- Show competence working with frontend development frameworks (e.g. React, Vue.js, Angular.js).
- Be proficient with relational (e.g. MySQL) and non-relational (e.g. Mongo) databases.
- Be able to design complex system architectures and develop REST APIs to communicate between services.
- Demonstrate good coding practices, documentation and version control.
- Have a knowledge of automation and be able to automate intricate processes.
- Have the aptitude to understand how processes/protocols interact, and not lose sight of the bigger picture.
DMS are also seeking applicants who:
- Display creative flair, and the attention to detail required to build attractive and practical interfaces.
- Are organised and time-efficient, with a head for scheduling and long term planning.
- Have some experience in project management and/or managing client expectations.
- Are able to work with an internal team to develop bespoke solutions to our specific requirements.
- Fit it in with a down-to-earth company ethos, with an enthusiasm for music and vinyl.
- Are competent using Adobe CC Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
