Acid etching is the process of inscribing a design into the surface of your metalwork, which is then pressed onto your records.
As your etching is on your metalwork, it means it only carries a one-time set-up fee, making larger vinyl runs super cost effective. Ask us about etch testing too!
To create a 1-sided etching plate costs £300 ex. VAT.
When a mirror finish or silent groove just won't do. If you're only pressing one side of audio, consider spicing up your release with a creative design screen-printed to the B side.
Especially cost effective for shorter runs, we can screen-print your records up to full colour as you require. We recommend opting for small centre labels to maximise the printable area.

UV printed vinyl records are the future of surface effect records. There are plenty of circumstances where you may wish to embellish the B side of your vinyl records with some artwork, and UV printing is one of the most flexible options.
Opt for a transparent vinyl base so that your design displays through the grooves, and colour your artwork white anywhere you'd like to utilise the base colour within your vinyl design.

Need more than 5 test pressings? Not a problem! Test pressings are the first records created from the metalwork, used to evaluate the quality, volume levels and listen for any untoward pops, clicks or excessive sound artefacts before mass production begins. We always recommend requesting test pressings with your order and listening carefully on a number of different turntables before approving production of the main run.
For the best results, audio should be specifically mastered for vinyl. Our audio department can take care of vinyl specific services such as vinyl mastering and suitability checking of your audio files. Check this box to receive more information, there is no obligation at all at this stage.
